Course Description | This course expands on the knowledge and skills gained in Film, Television and Video Production I with a specific emphasis on news production. Students will explore legal and ethical issues in TV news, understand the fundamentals of video news, demonstrate newscast structures, and produce live newscasts. In addition, students will learn the phases of news story production and identify how current trends in technology, workload, and roles impact news production. |
