Work-based Learning (WBL) is an integral part of all Career and Technical Education courses in North Carolina to show curricular relevance to industry skills.
Public School Units (PSUs) are encouraged to strategically choose work-based learning strategies in alignment with unique needs, considering factors such as local employment demands, available program offerings, resources, and other pertinent considerations. Course Description	Improve overall welding skills. Create accurate welds from a variety of positions. Produce flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) fillet and groove welds. Gain the knowledge, skills, and industry credentials for careers in the Welding pathway. * Per AWS, twenty (20) welding students to one (1) instructor is the maximum recommended ratio.
