| Course Description | This course covers part of the NC Firefighter certification modules required for all firefighters in North Carolina. The modules include: Rescue, Fire Detection and Suppression Systems, Fire and Life Safety Initiatives, Mayday, HM (HAZMAT) Ops, and TIMS. This course prepares students for the North Carolina firefighter certification modules. SkillsUSA competitive events, community service, and leadership activities provide the opportunity to apply essential standards and workplace readiness skills through authentic experiences. English language arts are reinforced. |
