Work-based Learning (WBL) is an integral part of all Career and Technical Education courses in North Carolina to show curricular relevance to industry skills.
Public School Units (PSUs) are encouraged to strategically choose work-based learning strategies in alignment with unique needs, considering factors such as local employment demands, available program offerings, resources, and other pertinent considerations. Course Title	Construction Project Management
Course Description	The Project Management Construction course will prepare students for careers such as construction project managers, construction superintendents, project leads, etc. Topics such as construction documents, cost control, document control, and quality control will be discussed in addition to interpersonal skills, issues and resolutions, and continuous improvement. Students will complete the Project Management NCCER assessment as the Proof of Learning as well as have the opportunity to complete OSHA 30-Hour.
