Venture provides students with instruction across various skills such as what it means to be an entrepreneur, how to build and balance a budget, how to recognize a business opportunity, and how to craft a business pitch. These lessons also reinforce problem solving, resource management, and professionalism skills.

The program uses a series of four assessments to validate students' knowledge of the characteristics of an entrepreneur, building and maintaining a budget for a small business, recognizing business opportunities, and pitching a business plan. Demonstrating proficiency in these skills will aid students in becoming successful entrepreneurs. Additionally, these skills would also be transferable across industries.
