Course DescriptionCIE Travel and Tourism AS enables learners to investigate changes in travel and tourism and to appreciate the importance of sustainability. By working as a team to plan and manage a travel and tourism event, learners adopt a set of transferable, vocationally relevant skills. Learners acquire an enriched understanding of the development, management and marketing of travel and tourism destinations. Developing critical thinking, independent research, communication and time management capabilities equip learners well for progression into higher education or directly into employment.
