Directory Notes | Students must be 17 years old by last day of course, successfully complete course with 80% or better, successfully complete 48 hours clinical and 10 patient contacts, take NCDPI Qualifying Exam for EMR and score 80% or better, successfully complete TSOPes from EMT instructor or designee (also instructor), and complete a didactic driving portion. Angoff scoring is the lowest pass/fail cut-off score that a minimally qualified candidate is likely to achieve on a credential/licensure exam. Students have 90 days to attempt first credential exam from date of "grade out" incontinuum by instructor, and three attempts at credential exam within six months of date of "grade out" incontinuum by instructor. Their time to sit for credential exam drops to 30 days once they complete their attestation. |
